Dear friend of Enapter

In late May we announced our new strategic partnership with the global specialty chemicals company Johnson Matthey. The environmental technologies market leader invested €20 million in Enapter’s ongoing capital increase but that’s not all: We’ll be carrying out joint R&D for advanced materials and components to accelerate our production scale-up, further improve our electrolyser performance and more.

We appreciate their belief in Enapter’s products and strategy and look forward to working together. Get all of the details here in our press release.

Highlights From Hannover Messe 2022

We had an absolute blast meeting old and new faces at the Hannover Messe last week – the buzz around the green hydrogen sector and the Enapter conference booth were remarkable.

Our co-founder Vaitea Cowan took to the main Hannover Messe stage to share her thoughts on “Hydrogen – what is needed for the industry.” First insight: “There will not only be one Enapter Campus, there will be many.” Insight No 2.: “We need to understand that the future of energy is digital.”

For those who didn’t go, you can watch the video of Vaitea’s quick pitch HERE.

Her co-founder Jan also took to the stage to cover “AEM Electrolysers: Up-numbering for large-scale green hydrogen production. To find out how we “achieve very low specific costs on hydrogen generation”, watch Jan’s video HERE

Another hot topic at Hannover Messe was green hydrogen cost and where it will be cheapest: A new study from IRENA has revealed which markets and regions could have the lowest levelised cost of hydrogen (LCOH) by 2050. China, Oceania, Latin America and Morocco seem set to take off thanks to outstanding potential for renewable energy generation – perhaps even cutting costs below 1USD/Kg.
