Enapter AEM Nexus 1000 transport and commissioning

AEM Nexus taken to Czechia for commissioning

After its successful pre-commissioning, our latest AEM Nexus 1000 electrolyser has been picked up by our customer Unigranit and made its way to the Czech Republic.

Located in Pastviny and powered by renewables, this electrolyser will produce green hydrogen to be fed into the public natural gas grid.

This particular AEM Nexus electrolyser purchased by Unigranit comes with an initial green hydrogen production capacity of 500 kW and can later be expanded to 1 MW.

Our AEM Nexus containerised electrolysers use many AEM Electrolyser cores for optimum reliability and reactivity to fluctuating renewable energy at any load, producing ~225 kg of hydrogen by day at 500 kW capacity and ~450 kg of hydrogen per day with our 1 MW system.

€1 Billion hydrogen subsidy announced by Dutch Government – act now!

The Dutch government has set a €1 Billion Hydrogen Subsidy Auction for October – and we’re here to make sure our partners in the Netherlands can get an AEM Electrolyser quote in time.

Projects must be at least 0.5MW in size – an exact fit with our AEM Nexus 500.

They must also be able to be operational within five years. (We can help you do it in one).

Our clients in the Netherlands are already using our AEM Electrolysers in a wide range of use cases, from long-term energy storage to industrial applications, grid balancing and agriculture.

Contact us today to make sure you’re ready by October!

Learn more about AEM Electrolysis

As the pioneers and market leader of commercialised AEM Electrolysers and the company at the forefront of AEM Electrolysis R&D, we’ve created a webpage to help people learn more about AEM tech.

This new page gives an introduction to AEM technology, links to more information about how it works and summarizes what its benefits are – and also shares further resources around our technology and R&D activities.

Take a look at here and please share widely!

New H2 use cases from our partners

This month, we’re exploring new H2 use cases in Africa, Brazil and Poland that use our electrolysers:

In South Africa, our partner Elemental Energy helped Jaci’s Lodges 5-star ecotourism operation in the Madikwe Game Reserve to switch to a sustainable alternative to diesel backup power. Their H2 microgrid system is a stationary 24/7 power solution that combines solar power, short-term battery storage and long-duration hydrogen energy storage. Check out their solution.

On Brazil’s Ilha do Fundão island, H2 Core Systems and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro’s Solar Energy and Green Hydrogen Laboratory have created a research project using nine single-core AEM Electrolysers to produce onsite green hydrogen. It is analysing the use of green H2 in industrial processes, electricity production via fuel cells and use in mobility and aviation. Read more here.

Our ELs are also in use in the Polish railways, with another project integrated by H2 Core Systems testing the use of green hydrogen reconverted to electricity with fuel cells for buffering power outages in the Polish railway network. When there’s a surplus of solar power, 15 AEM Electrolysers make green H2 for long-term storage to be ready in the case of outages. More on this on LinkedIn.

Interview with our US partner Clean H2

Clean H2 is our exclusive US distributor for AEM Electrolysers, and their Chief Revenue Officer Erwin Bosma recently sat down for a video interview with Hyfindr at the Houston Expo.

His interview covers Clean H2’s introduction of our AEM technology to the USA, why our electrolysers are ideal for integration with renewable energy sources and how they meet US regulatory standards.

You can find the full interview on Youtube.
