Project Control Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Project Control Engineer to join our Enapter Customer Projects Team in Pisa. The Enapter Customer Projects Team is responsible for the following services in Enapter:

  • Managing multi-core electrolyser and single-core electrolyser deployment projects in a customer facing role
  • Providing Technical Support to Sales and Business Development on customer prospects and bids
  • Offering electrolyser integration and system design consulting services to customers

The team was created at the beginning of this year and is based in both our offices in Pisa and in Saerbeck (Germany). If you join our team, you will be mainly working on projects and bids but will also help in developing the team’s processes.

To be a successful Project Control Engineer in Enapter, you should have a broad breadth of cost control and planning knowledge that can be applied to our projects. You will need to be enthusiastic, hands on and pro-active with the ability to maintain attention to detail in your work.

Your responsibilities

  • Perform and manage project activity scheduling and monitoring and writing up reports,
  • Controlling and monitoring projects total expenditures including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
  • Assist in technical and commercial review of tenders for the preparation of Technical offers for Supply and Maintenance contracts of Electrolysers.
  • Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work.
  • Attend project meetings and discussions with the Customer Projects Team and external clients
  • Provide cost control and planning advice to the internal team as and when required.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required.

Your profile

  • University degree in an Management, Engineering or Economics
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Use of planning, cost control and IT tools.
  • A high level of analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in reading Technical Requirements and contract documents
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Confident knowledge of English, German is a plus.
  • Independent work ethic, able to work well with minimal supervision
