Dear friend of Enapter
As a climatically-supercharged summer sets the thermometer rocketing up, we’re doing our best to match the pace. One example: We’re stepping up the development of our megawatt-scale Electrolyser, the AEM Multicore.
Movement on the Multicore
The heart of our AEM Multicores is already beating today: Each 1-MW system sports 420 AEM Electrolyser stacks, mounted into frames in “strings” of 10. And Enapter’s Multicore testing strings are already running very nicely! You can find the factsheet here.
When in operation in the AEM Multicore, each of these strings can be individually regulated, started up or shut down. This gives you the best interoperability with fluctuating renewable energy, as well as a more robust system for green hydrogen that never sleeps.
And the only thing more exciting than its capability to save you money (with a lower cost than same-sized PEM Electrolysers) is the fact that we’re about to build the 1st two Multicores, then planning to ship ten more from summer 2023 in this first generation of the MW-scale AEM Electrolyser! We plan to ship many more AEM Multicores from summer 2024 in generation two, which will be produced at scale in our Enapter Campus in Saerbeck.
We’re also about to start shipping EL 4.0 single-core ELs in August, so let us know about your next projects to make sure you can secure the EL 4.0 or AEM Multicore Electrolysers you need.
Green H2 Mobility: The Road to Hydrogen Fuel Stations
Mobility is one of the green hydrogen uses that attracts the most controversy, but despite this it’s already a rapidly growing field that requires an equally speedy rollout of hydrogen refuelling station infrastructure.
But how do refuelling stations work? What role can modular electrolysers play? And how do hydrogen hubs fit in?
Read our new H2 refuelling station blog post to find out!
Return of the Partner Training – Session 2 for 2022
We had a blast swapping knowledge and experiences with our integration partners in last week’s online Enapter Partner Training days – the second, but not last, training event of the year!
These sessions are a great chance to enhance our collective green hydrogen brain power, as well as highlight H2 applications and our partners’ efforts in integrating our ELs into their current & upcoming projects. We also shared market opportunities for MW-scale AEM, how our partners are generating sales revenues and much more.
A special thanks to Creo, GAP Energy and H2Core Systems for showing how they use our AEMs and EMS Toolkit in projects like the Solar Engineering Unit in Athens, Research House in the UK and diverse turnkey H2 production units.
And then there were 257!
Enapter employees that is! Our team continues to grow massively, and if you’re curious why, take a little video trip to Italy to meet some of our team at the Enapter Pisa site.
Another reason: We were named as one of the “Escape 100″ top companies in the world to escape to during the great resignation! Read more here if you’re curious.
That’s all from us for now; take care and please share if you suspect your network might like this newsletter.
All our best,
The Enapter Team
