Decentralised H2: German Energy Agency dena publishes “H2 dezentral” study on business models for decentralised green hydrogen concepts
Decentralised H2 concepts that produce green hydrogen from renewable energies in regional clusters across Germany will be an increasingly important building block for climate neutrality and energy supply security in the future.
Maggio 25, 2023
The ramp-up of the German hydrogen economy is gaining momentum. On the way to climate neutrality in 2045, the demand for green hydrogen as an energy carrier is increasing. Decentralised H2 concepts that produce green hydrogen from renewable energies in regional clusters across Germany will be an increasingly important building block for climate neutrality and energy supply security in the future.
From Enapter’s point of view, these key message and insights can be found in the new study:
- How well Enapter’s AEM electrolysis compares to other green hydrogen technologies
- Which decentralised business models for green H2 can help drive the energy transition locally
On LinkedIn, we have listed a selection of real projects for the decentralised production of green hydrogen, all of which draw on Enapter’s AEM Electrolysers. We have listed more use cases from a wide range of application areas from electricity storage and Power-to-X to industrial solutions and mobility here.
