Data Enapter Collects

In order to fulfil its purpose, the Cloud collects data from Enapter Electrolysers and Dryers by default, with the option to include other devices that are optional to connect. The Cloud collects data from user authorised devices such as: device type (e.g. electrolyser, dryer, inverter, fuel cell); the operating system used (e.g. Linux); the network provider; IP address; network status i.e. Wi-Fi availability; network type and name (e.g. Wi-Fi SSID); IP address and process parameters.

Process parameters include variables such as: temperature, pressure, fan rotation speed, kWh generated, kWh consumed. Sensors exist within the devices to allow measurement of the required process parameters. For a full list of measurements taken from Enapter devices, please contact Enapter.

Private data is also collected. This private data includes password; site location; site timezone; site Wi-Fi SSID; Device private IP address; Sign in count; current sign in at; last sign in at; created at; updated at. Potentially sensitive information such as the User password, is encrypted. Information such as the Wi-Fi password will not be stored on the device, or in the Cloud by Enapter.

The data collected is primarily linked to monitoring the processes within the microgrid itself, or for securing access by the intended user only. Enapter minimises any potentially sensitive data collected or requested from the user. For the avoidance of doubt, no data can or will be collected from a device not connected to the Cloud.

Cookies may be collected, but are not stored on our Server. Please see the Enapter cookie policy https://www.enapter.com/cookie-policy/.

Which devices does the Enapter Cloud collect data from?

The Cloud is capable of collecting data from connected devices, and facilitates communication between these devices. The devices include: electrolysers, fuel cells, inverters and other devices present in a microgrid and integrated using Enapter Communication Modules or Gateway. This allows for the management of an entire microgrid.

As the Enapter toolkits continues to be developed more devices may be integrated. If it can be part of a microgrid, the App and Cloud may be adapted to manage it.
