We’re looking for a Stack Engineer to further enhance our product development project in either our Saerbeck or Pisa locations. The AEM Stacks are the heart of our electrolysers; are you up to the challenge of making them even better?

What role will you play in building a green hydrogen future?

  • Make our team better and faster, thanks to your excellent technical skills and experience related to the design of electrochemical systems, pressurised devices, sealings, materials, surface treatments/coatings, and design for industrial mass production – or any combination thereof.
  • Provide day-to-day technical support while monitoring and troubleshooting operations of stack manufacturing, development and improvement.
  • Coordination with engineering and project management teams to further develop our next generation stack design.
  • Involvement in pilot plant production and future industrialisation of next gen. stack design.
  • Collaboration on the production development project.

What do you need to help make our goals a reality?

  • First things first: Enthusiasm for the part green hydrogen will play in tomorrow’s world and Enapter’s role in it
  • University degree in an engineering field (e.g., chemistry, mechanical, or similar)
  • At least 3 years of experience in stack development in a similar field (e.g., electrolysers, pressurised systems, compressors, sealings etc.)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to develop new ideas and translate them into practical and measurable deliverables
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; the local language is a plus (German or Italian)
  • Industry experience would be a big plus

Operational Buyer (m/f/d) | Saerbeck, Germany

  • Conduct a wide range of back-office activities, e.g., create purchasing orders, check purchasing order confirmations, check and document invoice verification, contract management
  • Support the implementation of a new ERP system

What do you need to help make our goals a reality?

What role will you play in building a green hydrogen future?

  • Identify and evaluate risk factors, and derive suitable safety measures for the workplace
  • Conduct risk assessment by expanding on and checking the application of protective and preventive measures according to art. 28 of Legislative Decree 81/08
  • Participate in the drafting of the risk assessment document as well as in consultations on health and safety protection
  • Develop safety procedures for all company activities
  • Inform employees about company risks according to art. 36 of Legislative Decree 81/08
  • Propose training and information courses, and train employees

What do you need to help make our goals a reality?

  • Follow standard analytical procedures, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records

R&D Testing Scientist (m/f/d) | Pisa, Italy

  • Set up experimental tests and studies in the R&D department, create test reports based on test plans and experiments
  • Work both independently and in collaboration with the rest of the team on R&D projects within the electrolyser development and validation team

  • Interact and communicate efficiently with other teams and departments

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Electrochemistry, Chemistry or similar
  • A minimum of 3 years proven hands on experience in R&D departments and expertise in electrochemical devices or energy conversion systems, with mechanical and electrical components
  • Excellent knowledge of electrochemical phenomena and proven experience with applied electrochemistry (electrochemical reactions, corrosion phenomena, kinetics, etc..)
  • Hands on experience with characterization methods (polarization curve, EIS, etc.)
  • Academic or industrial experience with fuel cells and electrolysers would be advantageous
  • An innovative approach to new concepts and the capability to transform them into practical and measurable deliverables
  • Excellent English communication skills are a must, German and Italian are a plus

Our team is growing fast and currently we are looking for a brilliant Electrochemist to join our team. You will study and improve the core system of our electrolyser stack as we move to mass production and beyond.

What role will you play in building a green hydrogen future?

  • Perform electrochemical, rheological and morphological tests (single cell electrolyser, EIS, RDE, viscosity, zeta potential, AFM, SEM)
  • Design and conduct studies to further develop Enapter’s MEA
  • Anode or cathode catalyst and electrode development
  • Integration of MEA into the Enapter stack and optimization of stack architecture
  • Interact with fellow scientists to evaluate results and write reports
  • Participate in R&D Chemistry group meetings and special projects

What do you need to help make our goals a reality?

  • First things first: Enthusiasm for the part green hydrogen will play in tomorrow’s world and Enapter’s role in it
  • Master’s degree in Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • 1-2 years of academic or industrial experience in colloid formulation and characterization and/or electrode manufacturing and/or electrochemical characterization
  • Knowledge of electrochemical reactions and understanding of water electrolysis
  • Understanding of noble metal catalysts and non-noble metal catalysts
  • Knowledge of electrochemical methods for electrocatalyst characterization (RDE, half-cell, cyclic voltammetry, etc.)
  • Excellent English communication skills, German and/or Italian is a plus

  • Tailoring and executing our BD strategy accordingly
  • Generating leads, developing sales opportunities and closing deals

  • Working together with communication team colleagues to align communication and BD

What do you need to help make our goals a reality?

  • Experience in business development, technical sales, engineering, or as an analyst in the energy or gas sector
  • Strong network in energy or industry, specific to hydrogen or renewables is a plus
