Service Technician Italy (m/f/d) | Pisa, Italy

Enapter is a rapidly-growing energy technology company with offices in Italy, Germany and Thailand. We develop and produce Anion Exchange Membrane (AEM) electrolysers that enable low-cost green hydrogen production at any scale.

As a Service Technician in our Pisa service team, you’ll have the opportunity to work on hydrogen production sites around Europe and the rest of the world, provide specialised construction services to project teams, as well as perform and continuously improve our standard product repair processes.

What role will you play in building a green hydrogen future?

  • Perform both local and remote service activities for routine and specialised maintenance on our electrolysers
  • Assemble and support project deliverables for internal teams and for the construction of specialised systems
  • Commission Enapter devices onsite and perform site acceptance tests
  • Create instructions for services and routine maintenance
  • Document system repairs and perform standard system inspections and refurbishments
  • Collaborate with other teams to build testing and repair stations in Pisa

What do you need to help make our goals a reality?

  • First things first: Enthusiasm for the part green hydrogen will play in tomorrow’s world and Enapter’s role in it
  • Ideally service work experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Hands-on experience with constructing pipe systems and testing their assemblies
  • Knowledge of reading and utilising engineering drawings, e.g., P&IDs and wiring diagrams
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites for at least 10% of work hours
  • Knowledge of health and work safety rules and procedures
  • Proactive, problem-solving attitude
  • Capability of understanding customer requirements and confidence in customer communication
  • Ability to plan and execute projects efficiently in diverse settings
  • Capability of both independent and teamwork and the physical ability to perform remote maintenance
  • Driver’s license (category B) is a must
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Italian

R&D Test Engineer (m/f/d) | Pisa, Italy

We’re looking for a R&D Testing Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team on electrolyser and stack development and validation in Pisa, Italy. You’ll be an integral part of the development process and will have a wide range of technical challenges to tackle. Be ready for a dynamic environment!

What role will you play in building a green hydrogen future?

  • Setting up experimental tests and studies in the R&D department, elaborating test reports based on test plans and experimental measurements
  • You’ll work independently on specific tasks but in synergy with other team members
  • You’ll interface and communicate proficiently with other teams and departments because the R&D Testing
  • Team is the most interdisciplinary team in the company
  • Bring your critical approach to daily problems

What do you need to help make our goals a reality?

  • First things first: Enthusiasm for the part green hydrogen will play in tomorrow’s world and Enapter’s role in it
  • At least a Master’s degree, in Mechanical, Aerospace or Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry
  • Proven industrial experience in R&D departments and expertise in electro-chemical devices
  • At least 3 years of working experience in the Engineering field, preferably in R&D departments
  • Hands-on approach to running experiments in which both mechanical and electrical components are used in energy conversion systems
  • Excellent knowledge of wide engineering principles (thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, mechanical and electrical principles)
  • Good knowledge of industrial sensors, data acquisition and communication protocols
  • Good knowledge of mechanical components and assemblies
  • Experience on devices handling hydrogen or similar gases will speed up your onboarding
  • Experience in prototyping and experimental setup is strongly recommended
  • Being able to develop new ideas into practical and measurable deliverables
  • MS Office pack knowledge is a must
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Matlab is strongly recommended
