Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) systems are commonly used to generate nitrogen gas from air. In order to achieve a high purity gas output, they are often very large. Using a smaller PSA generator reduces cost, however it also results in lower purity output. Clan Tecnológica and SysAdvance overcame this issue by integrating Enapter electrolysers and a dryer to purify this nitrogen. This resulted in a more cost-effective and smaller nitrogen generator in Portugal.
