Decentralised hydrogen production for mobility research

Munich, Germany

This exciting containerised solution from our partner JA-Gastechnology GmbH (JAG) is providing the first on-site produced renewable hydrogen to the HyLab of the MORE Munich Mobility Research Campus. It produces green hydrogen via 48 AEM Electrolysers EL 2.1. The MORE project is transforming the campus of the Bundeswehr University Munich into a model city for the mobility of the future: CO2-neutral, energy-efficient, multimodal, area-efficient, autonomous and networked.

Based on the future mobility needs of various stakeholders, holistic solutions are being developed from spatial and traffic planning to the local generation of CO2-neutral energy sources, innovative drive trains, autonomous driving and the management and networking of the transport infrastructure, vehicles and users. The decentralised production and use of green hydrogen is an important component in this research project.
